Zhendre heat pumps provide domestic heating. This incredibly efficient heating system that harvests and upgrades the energy found naturally in outdoor air minimizes the energy use in the home and dramatically reduces carbon emissions. The carefully developed control system has been specifically designed for either under floor heating systems or radiators in properties with appropriate levels of thermal insulation. The boiler uses inverter driven technology to regulate the heat output.
Inverter technology in simple terms means the air/source inverter driven heat pump compressor will only consume the exact energy to match the heating demand. With the Zhendre system a programable room thermostat in the living area allows the temperature of the room to be controlled by modulating the inverter power of the outdoor unit to maintain the desired comfort temperature utilising the minimum amount of electrical energy. As there is continious operation as opposed to cyclical on off operation the performance and efficiency of the heating is optomised resulting in energy savings and reduced heating bills.
With 26 models in two versions one for underfloor and one radiator applications DC inverter technology utilising a Sanyo outdoor unit. The Coefficient of performance (COP) of a heat pump is the ratio of heat delivered divided by the power consumed. The Zhendre delivers a COP up to 4.1. This coupled with design and technical backup this is probably the best package of Air to Water Heat Pump heating systems for new or existing housing available in Ireland.
For existing homes the installation of Zhendre Air / Source could not be easier as the existing boiler remains in operation to back up the system in extreme cold weather and provide an option for domestic hot water production.
SEI grant for this package under Greener Homes Phse 3 for existing houses to assist in the reduction of our carbon emissions is €2000.
Zhendre heat pump heating system can significantly reduce household energy consumption when compared to an oil boiler system. Savings on space heating costs are significant provided the home has good thermal insulation.

The advanced heating technology used in air source heat pumps make them ideal for Irish conditions where our winter weather has an average minimum temperature of 7 deg C.
With conventional boilers 1kW of input energy provides less than 1kW of output energy or heat. With Zhendre every 1kW of input electrical energy is converted into an average of 3.7kW output heat energy making it more than three times as efficient as conventional boilers and a natural choice for low cost heating .Unlike traditional boilers which use their full output when running the inverter control regulates the system so that the boiler only uses the exact amount of energy needed at any given time to match the heating demand.
